GREEN RIM TUMBLER GLASS
  • Holds: 16 ounces
  • Size: 5.25" - 5.5" Tall x 3" Wide (all sizes of Mexican glass are approximate)

Glass Blowers use 100% lead-free glass from recycled soda bottles. Although the glassware is very similar in height and width, No two pieces ever look identical, which adds to the appeal and uniqueness of our traditional hand blown glass from Mexico. Our glassware is dishwasher safe, just allow a short cooling off period before using them if the heat/dry cycle was used.
Each glass is truly a piece of art and durable enough for everyday use!

Magellan Traders authentic hand blown glassware is not tempered. Each glass has tiny air bubbles blown within the glass that when exposed to extreme temperature changes can expand and cause the glass to crack, such as boiling liquid, or ice cold liquid poured into a warm or hot glass, so some extra care is necessary.

Care Instructions:
  • Extreme temperature changes may cause the bubbles to expand which could result in a cracked glass.
  • A short cooling off period is essential after removing the glasses from the dishwasher if the heat/dry cycle was used.
  • Our glassware is not certified for serving hot beverages, but can be served with ice.
  • All Mexican Glassware is 100% lead-free and dishwasher safe.

Don't be fooled by the imitation glass from overseas factories that looks hand blown but is not. This imitation glass is machine made, very thin, and nowhere near the quality of authentic Hand Blown Mexican Glass.

Green-rimmed glasses
Love, love, love these glasses! I've been looking high and low for Mexican blown glasses, and MT delivered. They are solidly made and beautifully individual. The rim is so smooth, drinking from them is sheer pleasure. Customer service was excellent as well! Will be reordering more from Magellan Traders in the near future and recommending to friends.

Lovely, Sturdy
Purchased a set of 4 in 2020 when my hand-me-down blue rim set were down to a lone remaining glass. The new set arrived and were lovely and sturdy with nicer clarity than my old blue set which had gone a bit cloudy. Ordering another 4 now in 2024 since I have just accidentally broken one by filling with cold water prior while the glass was still too hot from the dishwasher. This caused a crack to form at the bottom of the glass so no longer useable for drinking. I appreciate the warning on this page that says not to do that exact thing! If only my past self were more patient! Oh well.

Very Pleased
The glasses are beautiful, thick bubble glass. I have been trying to match a set I have had for 22 years that was purchased in Nogales and haven't had any luck finding green rim glasses, when I would come across similar glasses the price was always much higher. These were an amazing deal. I am very pleased with them.
