Magellan Traders offers a wide variety of ice tea glasses
to match almost any dinnerware set. Our Mexican glass
makes a great addition to your kitchen and looks great
in any home. Glass blowers use lead-free and recycled
glass. No two pieces are ever exactly alike in size or
shape, which adds to their charm. Enjoy our ice tea glasses

The
Mexican glass blowers while blowing the glass actually
blow the colors directly into the center of the glass
creating the colored rims and in the solid confetti
glass speckles throughout the entire glass. While blowing
the glass (when it is still hot) the artist pinches
the glass to give it the pinched look, or pinch and
bend the glass to give it the Borracho look. It is a
magnificent procedure to watch and takes a highly skilled
artist to perfect it. Each ice tea glass weighs almost
1 pound! These are very durable and hard to break. Don't
be fooled by the imitation glass from overseas that
looks hand blown but is not! This imitation glass is
machine made, very thin, and no where near the quality
of authentic Hand Blown Mexican Glass.

Each Piece of our Mexican Glassware collection has been
hand blown by one of the many talented artists in Southern
Mexico. No two drinking glasses will ever be identical,
which is part of the elegance and uniqueness of the traditional
Mexican hand blown glass.
